Alumni Service Event in Houston

Join SCA Houston for an alumni service project and brunch on Saturday, July 26th. Connect with other alums in the area, give back to the community, and have fun!

SCA has a great day planned in partnership with Last Organic Outpost. For the morning service project, volunteers will be preparing new planting beds and planting seeds. Then the Outpost will provide participants with a homemade brunch, followed by a short Fermentation workshop complete with tastings of different foods and drinks!

WHEN: Saturday, July 26th, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (arrive at 8:45 for registration)

WHERE: Last Organic Outpost, 711 Emile Street, Houston, TX 77020

WHAT: Prepping planting beds and planting seeds, followed by homemade brunch and fermentation workshop.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

PROVIDED: SCA will provide water bottles and snacks as well as gloves and project materials. Brunch will be supplied by Last Organic Outpost.
